Hello I’m Colin Evans

I have been serious about photography for 25 years, and have tried to learn as much as I can about light, composition, and the equipment need to capture gorgeous images.

Since 2016, I have been the organiser of the Surrey Creative Photography Group, fostering a community where we enjoy walks, model events, light painting, and other specialised photography events.

I have run workshops at camera clubs and worked with numerous professional and amateur models to create striking, emotive imagery

Photography is my passion, and I love (almost) every minute of it

Long before I become interested in photography, I bought a vinyl LP, (remember those?), by Rod Stewart. Apart from it being a fantastic, rock and blues album, it’s title still resonates with me today …
